Wondered if you guys have seen this?  This is an x plane dev group bringing their Twinkie into MSFS!  "Coming Soon"

They also had a PA30 owner on their dev team.  Looks like GNS or GTN for the panel, with glass panel coming later.  Looks to have a basic Century autopilot too.

I have the vFlyte Twinkie in XP12 and I like it, and would buy this too.

Especially as talented painters ex. You might make more liveries for it.

The only thing keeping me from purchasing planes until MSFS 2024 is wanting to make sure they incorporate all of the new 2024 features.

 

Yeah I'm wondering the same - but I'd be happy to support them here in MSFS.  Basically I envision a small fee for upgrades to 2024 for most addons, and as long as it's not too drastic, I'm okay with that.

Just for you twin Comanche PA 32 blokes - there has been one in 2020 for some time, and it is as good as the Vflyte I used to fly in X11

It is by "Shrike Simulations" - and I think I got it on Marketplace

I used to fly the PA 30 in real life in the 70s - great little aircraft and dependable - and no TDS of course - it doesn't need such refinements

I'll be honest, for me the Shrike Twinkie wasn't anywhere near the quality of the X-Plane version, but how much of that was down to being in a different sim is impossible for me to say.

I too will be getting this, I loved their aircraft in XP and want to support them so they bring more over to MSFS.

Yeah I don't want to speak harshly of the milviz I once loved (and beta tested for almost ten years with)....  But their decision to drop down to a lower level of products was a real bummer.  Their C310 for msfs is still one of the most detailed addons.  It's a tad dated visually and the cockpit is bit simplistic but it's a very very good addon if you want something that feels like a light twin, flies by the numbers, has wear and tear and failures.

I basically left the testing role with them when they were coming out with the Shrike so I don't know much about it except that in my opinion it doesn't look very good.

Maybe it sold well for them?  No idea.

I was deeply unimpressed with the C310 after seeing what Milviz were capable of in P3D and XP (their XP T310R totally puts the MSFS one to shame), so seeing their ongoing trajectory hasn't been a surprise to me.

Apparently you can only buy it on Simmarket, and it does not download or install into MSFS2020.

I get error message" The product you are trying to install is not following SDK guidelines".

Hope this is not some scam either from the developer or Simmarket.

I find it hard to believe that a well-established dev like vFlyteAir or a well established flight sim store like Simmarket would be perpetrating any kind of scam. What would either of them ever hope to gain from something like that?  Bet its just early release bugs that get sorted out quickly.

I did reach out to support, awaiting some reply.

I agree, no need to state for a scam, just very disappointed after paying a lot of money in my currency and not even able to install the plane.

I will let know what happened if it may help someone in the future.
