July 19, 2025Jul 19 I had to add ini manager and ini updater to be allowed through windows defender firewall then the update worked. If you can walk away it's a good landing
July 19, 2025Jul 19 W11, MSFS2024 store version, and iniManager worked fine for this update. Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind). I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio. Intel 14900K in a Z790 motherboard with water cooling, RTX 4080, 32 GB 6000 CL30 DDR5 RAM, W11 and MSFS on Samsung 980 Pro NVME SSD's. Core Isolation Off, Game Mode Off.

July 19, 2025Jul 19 [Installer worked fine for me; 2024 Store version] Tried the update. For me, the autopilot still will not reliably lock onto a GPS track, heading off to a seemingly random heading . Very inconsistent. Using it exclusively with PMS GTN. I will try the 530 later today. July 20, 2025Jul 20 Flying this in FS2024. Follows magenta line ok. but can't get it to do an ILS landing. Coming in at 1,600' AGL, Nav1 on & frequency set, hit Vloc1 & GS when it reaches the green 'feathers' in Little NavMap. but the F406 doesn't follow the glideslope. Am I missing a step somewhere? T45

I've found from flying into various ILS airports that much over 2,000' & the aircraft tend to overfly rather than lock on, hence the 1,600' to 1,800' approach. However, I'll try 2,500' & see what happens. The F406 does not appear to have a LOC button & I have noticed that on the 3 ILS approaches tried so far, I couldn't hear the ILS frequ. 'morse. T45

I flew into KBOS Rwy 33L, my standard ILS test Rwy, at 2,300', & it overflew, no inclination to follow the glide slope at all. So, head scratcher. T45

I updated yesterday, but haven't tried the FS20 version. Will try that next. Oddly, in FS24, on the 2nd attempt, prior to moving to KBOS, the aircraft, entered the Little Navmap green feathers ok at 1.600', having followed the STARS to that point, then it headed left in a perfect circle & came back around to enter the feathers again, & the go out left again, at which point I abandoned the flight. I'm not on FS24 SU3 Beta. Probably work in FS20😀 T45
