July 29, 2025Jul 29 Just acquired this add-on, not sure what to think about it, only had one flight so far, each time I start it, it will not shut down at the end, only with Task Manager, no add on has ever done this in my hangar, I have lots in there. My System: Intel 9700K 4.7Gz, ROG Strix Z390-E Gaming, 32 GB Corsair Vengeance 3200MHZ, Evga 3070TI 8GB, Noctua NH-D15S, Gigabyte 27" Monitor, Windows 10 64bit, 2xSamsung 500GB SSD, 1x Samsung 120GB, 1x Samsung 970, 1TB, 1TB H/D for Storage. This happens to me at random, and not just with this iniBuilds 406, so it may be more of a sim issue that needs fixing. Like you say, ctrl-alt-del, then end task from the process list seems to be the only way, then it closes immediately. Annoying, shouldn't happen, but not a major problem. My opinion is that, if the sim is designed to use these types of add-ons, it should be set-up to capture these errors and still close down properly anyway. This goes for start up as well. Having an incompatible addon in the community folder shouldn't cause the sim to simply hang on start up, it should trap the error and/or skip over it.
