Hi,

I updated Windows - and then AS16 does not start any more. I suspect the Windows update, cannot think of any other reason.

Yes I have the same, don't have time yet to troubleshoot, but it seems to be to do with VS runtimes

 

I just found out that Windows Defender has something to do with it.

Turn Windows Defender off and it works. I have the AS16 install folder in the exclusions, but Windows Defender still says it's a Trojan 🙂

Made it work with adding exception for process, not just the folder. Process name is the exe file; AS_P3Dv4.exe

Mines not working same debug code...
