Really strange issue

Featured Replies

A very strange issue has arisen in my Win 10 system. In the file explorer I can't  make a right mouse click and select new folder. If I try that the file explorer hang up (not responding). But I can select new folder in the menu bar at the top of the explorer window. Anyone who have a clue about what this could be and what to do about it.

For a while now I've been getting a long delay before the right-click menu appears, but it eventually does... however I have retrained myself to use the 'new folder' button in the meantime:)

For me there is no delay before the menu appear and every other menu item except 'new' works as expected. And even if I could use the new folder button it feels uneasy that something definitely is wrong. What more problems could appear ? It really seem like some form of corruption in the OS system.
