Requesting some help with Error

Featured Replies

I have updated to R3 of 2600 and have been getting this error when I try to start the program:

Unable to initialize Database

The underlying provider failed to Open.

An attempt to attach an auto named daatabase for file

C:\Pilot2ATC_2018_x64\Data\P2ABaseData.mdf failed. A database with the same name exists, or specified file cannot be opened, or it is located on UNC share.

I'm not sure how to fix this.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

Michael.

After an update, this error usually indicates you installed the update to a new Sub Folder of your main P2A Installation.

Check your folder structure and path to the Pilot2ATC.exe file.  if it's something like C:\Pilot2ATC_2016_x64\Pilot2ATC_2016_x64\Pilot2ATC.exe, then that is the problem.

To remedy this problem, delete the new sub folder and run the update installer again, paying close attention to the install to folder.  Be sure it is installing to the main P2A Installation folder and not creating a new sub-folder.
