August 15, 20196 yr Hello, I have FSX Deluxe. CH Eclipse Yoke and CH Pedals. I am not very good at it, but I keep trying. My question concerns the CH Eclipse. The question is basic and dumb. The left Hat Switch I use for pan viewing up, down and around, in and outside aircraft, fine. To the; question. Can someone suggest what most, a lot, or some people use the right Hat switch for ? I cannot think of anything in particular. It seems like a waist to have it there and not to use it. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated ? Thank you so much, Wayne

You are in good company, because each one of us started right exactly where you are! Keep at it, it's worth it! I don't believe there is a lot you can really do with a second hate switch, at least not in FSX/P3D. But if you use Chaseplane (excellent application) then you could assign the second hat switch for a number of functions, I would use it for moving the eye point forward, back, left and right. I've never thought about using a Yoke with DCS, but if you did then you could use the second hat switch for the TDC (to move the radar cursor and select targets). I hope this has been helpful to you! Or map it to some systems you want to control in cockpit for example GPS pages.
