August 17, 20196 yr Flying the new Lear today, my journeys took me well into the late evening/night. As the sun started to set I figured it would be a good time to test out the new lights. The rotating beacon is such eye candy I almost cried. But I did notice something strange.... both the taxi and landing spot lights were burnin’ but they weren’t lighting up the pavement. So I quickly stopped the flight and sped up time to around midnight just to see if I could see anything but still no illumination. They’re bright white so they’re on. I also tested this at two other airports just to be sure. Can anyone else confirm this? Thanks. Edited August 17, 20196 yr by Deltaair1212

If that is not checked, they will not illuminate the ground. You said the beacon was working, does that illuminate the ground? I don't believe that would stop it from illuminating the tip tanks and underside of the fuselage, since that's not the "ground". But I could be mistaken.
