Carenado Phenom 300 Autopilot Problems

Featured Replies

When I Activate any button on the AFCS Control Unit (Autopilot) in the Phenom 300 it does not light-up to indicate that it was activated. I have some of the buttons mapped to my Joystick and if I activate anything I cannot tell if actually worked unless I hover my mouse over the button to see if it is on or off. Which kinda makes the act of mapping the buttons useless. I am not saying that they won't light-up at all; if I hit the the knob just above the AFCS Control Unit it will light-up the entire Unit. But if I click on any button such as NAV, HDG, APR, YD it shows no indication that it was activated. In the Carenado PC12 for example if you activate any of the buttons on the Autopilot it turns Green showing that it was activated. And as far as I can tell the Autopilot seems to be functioning properly (other than the buttons not indicating if they were activated). Anyone having the same issue? Is there a way to fix it.

The PFD shows the autopilot settings across the top.

The actual autopilot buttons do not light up individually.

If you want all lights to light up in the panel, turn the panel light knob in the overhead panel.
