September 1, 20196 yr This is not a critical issue but it is rather annoying and makes me very curious - here is the issue, if anyone has any wise words to pass on I would appreciate them. When I load my favorite aircraft the Carenado Baron BE58 either from a saved flight or just a new load - when the system has finished loading the aircraft makes a very loud THUMP!!. Almost sounds like it has fallen out of the sky. This only happens with the Baron and only started happening about a month ago and the only changes has been the new ORBX Central. Strange enough this also used to happen with my Carenado Caravan 208B but for some unknown reason it does not happen to the Caravan anymore. Has anyone else experienced this strange issue? September 1, 20196 yr LOL - I read it as "Loud Thrump sound ..." 😄 While I don't have a solution or exact answer for you - I sometimes experience a thump sound. I assume, that either P3D isn't precisely setting the aircraft on contact with the ground (perhaps 1-2 ft above it), and when the aircraft has finished loading, the aircraft 'settles' on the tarmac - giving the thump sound... Also, I assume any external program modifying weight in relation to the aircraft or environment factors, could theoretically influence this? Interesting...
