SAITEK P8000 Key Pad

Featured Replies

I have a SAITEK P8000 device which is recognised by LINDA and which allows me to assign  PMDG NGX Module functions.  However these functions do not operate in the SIM.  My MCP Combo works fine.

Any help please?

I am unfamiliar with the P8000. However, if it recognised by Windows as a HID device then LINDA should also show it as available. Functions assigned to buttons should be actioned. Pressing a button should highlight the appropriate line in the LINDA Joysticks page. To test this further, turn on Developer Mode and select Verbose in the LINDA Console. The button pressed and function called will displayed in the console.

LINDA does recognize the device and does allow me to assign functions to various key presses. However these are not implemented in the sim.

I have also noticed that key presses assigned to the various buttons are not actioned in the  sim either.

Hi John

load a default aircraft with default functions and see whether these are working. Also follow the fault diagnosis procedure thread instructions (in full) and send me the logs.
