September 10, 20196 yr I'm still a bit new to P2ATC just having used it for about two days now. All in all it's an amazing improvement over the built-in ATC of X-plane. My biggest issue I'm having right now is that I'm forced to restart P2ATC after each flight. Each time after completing a flight and then creating a new flight plan starting from whatever airport I just landed at when I attempt to have P2ATC file/copy/clear the new flight plan it always tells me that "The flight plan does not originate at this airport". Am I doing something wrong? Here's my sequence of events Active FP -> Land at destination airport (OK) Clear Active Runway, Report Cleared Runway (OK) Tell P2ATC to cancel my current IFR. It bids me a good night. I then fuel up, create a new flight plan originating from my current airport, File it, and import it into the GPS When I tell P2ATC that I'm ready to copy the new IFR it gives me the message that I'm not at the right airport. To Correct I have to shutdown P2ATC, reload it, and then load the previously saved FP. Once I do this all goes well. -Scott
September 10, 20196 yr Commercial Member Scott, You should be able to just disconnect rather than shutting down Pilot2ATC. If you can email me ([email protected]) the P2A log for the latest flight where this happened, I will have a look and see if I see something strange going on. P2A Log files are located in: C:\Users\<UserName>\AppData\Roaming\P2A_200\Logs where <UserName> is your PC user name. Portions of the path may be hidden by default, so be sure Windows Explorer has Show Hidden Items checked in the View tab. A new one is created each time you start Pilot2ATC, and is closed when you shut it down. So if you take the next to the most recent one after you had the error and after you shut down P2A, you should have the correct one. You can check to see if the " not originating at this airport" phrase is in the file to be sure. Dave
September 10, 20196 yr Author I never thought of disconnecting 🙂 Thanks! I will definitely try that first. If I still have the issue I'll report back. -Scott
