Overnight the option to read the latest unread post in a topic by pressing the black button to the left of the title is not working. It’s just taking me to the first post. Happening on multiple topics and despite logging out and in still not working.

Earlier today, we had some serious issues with the unread content feature at AVSIM.  In fact the site was down as it was corrupted.  I am clicking on that black button now and it is working for me.  I go to the last post read.

Wish I could provide better advice but I am able to go to the first post when I click on the black dot or star next to a topic.  I do not know how this feature of the site really works in the background.  It is just a convenience feature and it comes with the site that Invision developed.  Deleting the browser cookies might work but that is a drastic move as deleting the cookies is sometimes not good as you lose things you told it to remember to make your surfing better.  Still they can become corrupted but do not know how corruption could even cause this particular issue.  It may not be working as your browser may be thinking you have already seen the last post and didn't realize the AVSIM system was down and others had posted since in that topic.  So, deleting the cookies in your browser is probably an excellent suggestion you make.

I clicked on the black star next to the topic title and it brought me to your reply. Maybe it just takes some time to work through. Appreciate your help as always. AvSim is very stable so issues like this are few and far between. All the staff there do a good job. I'll hold off deleting the cookie.
