FSX Demo - Opaque VC Windows?

I've searched the forums, read the blogs, can't seem to find the solution. I've seen it discussed and if I remember correctly someone had a solution but I'll be dipped if I can find it. Can anyone save me some trouble here? I thought it was a matter of copying "envmap.bmp" over from the FS9 texture folder, but I tried that and it didn't help. That must have been a fix for something else. Thanks,Jim

I think it is related to shader 2.0, see if you video board handles it. There is an option in graphics settings bellow lens flare, I'm not in front of it, but I think it is called advanced animantions, try to check it.Ulisses

Thanks Ulisses,I have a low budget graphics card (NVidia MX4000) I bought on a whim at Wal-Mart one day, so I'm sure it's a case of the card not supporting the shader. I couldn't remember if it was hardware related or texture related from whatever it was I read a while back regarding the window opacity. I'll try messing with the advanced animations setting and see what happens. It's no secret that I'm needing a graphics card upgrade for FSX, just a matter of figuring out what to get and getting one ordered. Gotta "git 'er done" though, I think I'm missing half of what FSX has to offer :) .Appreciate your reply,Jim
