Loading pushback routes from ini file

Recommended Posts

Hello there,

I have been messing around with UGCX for the past hour and it has been working great. The one question I do have is how do we load routes from the ini files that we made previously? I have created 3 pushback routes for Newark at gate 71, however, when I request the pushback, the window doesn't show any of them. How do we get these routes to show up?

Many thanks,

Hey samwheeler,

We have plans to make or upload video tutorials about it.

Actually when you select "Computer generated pushback" menu option, the module itself checks the current parking's ID, and checks if there are already custom pushback routes for that parking, and it will display them as options not the automatic. As a result, you just need to go to that exactly same parking...then open UGCX main menu, then select "pushback sequence", then choose "computer generated pushback" option then follow the normal pushback flow, once you arrive to the point where you need to choose a direction, go to the "preview pushback" option to see the available routes on the map, and you should be able to see them. You should be able to see *ONLY* custom pushbacks (not the automatically generated). This behaivor may look weird for you, but it was the way we kept from sometime ago to the present. The idea, is that, you create a custom route, then you should have it as an option without going into the map first then start the pushback like if you select the "user defined pushback" option.

Cheers
