September 22, 20196 yr As above. If you're using something like a Saitek set of pedals they're notorious for spikes. Pushing the brakes knocks the parking brake off, sometimes quite noisily. It's poor technique. It's far nicer to leave your fingers under the park brake and ease it down when you push the brakes to release. Mark Harris. Aged 54. P3D, & DCS mostly.
