I am making this thread as a request, as I have been kind of tired of the very cumbersome update process. Fortunately for us RXP is a product that keeps being updated and I couldn't be happier with what Jean-Luc is doing with these panels.

My only complain is the update process. When a new update is found, the RXP installer will download the update but it is actually not installed. I have to unzip the rxpGTN/GNS zip file, run the e-commerce installer. Every now and then the activation limit is reached, so I have to go to the e-commerce account page, go to the re-activation page, find my order number, put it there, get an email, click the link and then continue with the e-commerce installation. 

I find this process very cumbersome. Is it possible to update this process and make it more user friendly? Ideally I would like to not deal with the e-commerce installer after the first install in my machine. Can it be that after that all updates not require the e-commerce  installer?

We're always trying to enhance our customer's experience from the first time they acquire and install our products.

I understand you're feeling the e-commerce re-installation is annoying, because we do update our products with new features very often. However to date, we've not found a satisfying alternative which balances both the technical challenges and the security for our customers.

Hopefully the quality of our product you're experiencing everyday with all your aircraft, their maturity and their stability,  contribute to reducing the number of update fixes.

Rest assured we're looking for better solutions and when we're satisfied we'll certainly improve the whole experience.

Thank you Jean-Luc. I understand, but please keep having an eye at transitioning to a better system in the feature when such an opportunity exists.
