I believe I have installed the RXP 750 correctly, and it shows on the instrument panel of my aircraft. It will not turn on, however, Any suggestions?

Will try. Thanks you. My computer skills are pretty limited  

i have really had a problem updating my software and getting it to activate.. I deleted it and reinstalled  Still have issues  it worked very well before so I must have messed it up..

Well. I have made it difficult I think. I removed the program to reinstall it- as I saw that I had multiple program downloads on 2 drives. Now I cannot seem to get a product key to redownload the program for the GTN750 on X-Plane. I have the link and receive a file for extraction but I cannot open it or see any information. I am sure it's my lack of ability. Any ideas?

I had hope ed reinstall the program with the McAfee Live Safe turned off.

You don't get a key to redownload: you download the e-commerce installer and use your key to 'reinstall' it.

  1. which link are you talking about, from where, from whom?
  2. what files are your 'receiving'?

I was able to reinstall the GTN750 after going to the Ap developers website and the online support people. Great!

It does not seem to be working properly. Whenever I type in waypoints they do not seem to be recognized.

 

I get the following messages:

Database: Chart function unavailable

Nav Angle..are referenced to True North

Database: Terrain Database is not installed, is corrupt, or not valid for this system.

FPL Waypoint locked: Stored flight plan waypoint is not in current navigation database...

 

Appreciate any assistance..

this looks like it is not the correct content, nor the latest version (v2.5.20.1 at the time you've posted your files, v2.5.20.2 since yesterday).

BTW. I just revisited the f1Purchase Agent site for GTN support and was referred back to you all !!🤓 I must say I am getting amused.

Guess I am now an impasse. I tried to download yet another version of the Reality GTN; disable my virus protection, etc...and see that none of the data files load into the GTN. Likely because the Trainer Application is not loaded correctly or activated. Why I have an older version of the sofware is also a mystery.

I don't quit too easily but this saga has dragged on far too long.

Anyway...

I'm telling you this is not the correct content for this file (you obviously copy/pasted the content of the other log file). I'm asking you to post the content of the rxpGTN.xpl.log file instead, to which you are answering:

You've successfully located the 2 log files and copy/pasted the content of one of these. You certainly have the skills to copy and I paste the content of the other one isn't it? So can you please help us help you and post the content of the other file?

 

I wish I could help you but it won't be possible if you are not detailing step by step what it is you are doing, what you are clicking, what you are typing, what you are running, so that I figure out what it is there is on your computer and how it is there.

Last question. Is there a link to the GTN Trainer associated with your product or is that included in the setup?

When you run our installer it auto-detects whether you have a compatible GTN trainer installed and offers to download and run it for you if not.

The latest available GTN trainer is compatible with the genuine Reality XP GTN 750/650 Touch.

As of today, the link is:

When the Garmin trainer installer prompts you, make sure to select all these components: GTN trainer, Databases, and optionally the Launcher.

Thank you. I have good news! It works. I carefully went through the files and deleted anything that resembled an old download. Then reloaded the program. Then crossed my fingers an and it worked,
