I have been using the GTN750 in XP11, via STEAM which I deleted when I purchased the new XP12. I have been trying to update the GTN into the XP12 Plug in folder to no avail. (lack of knowledge is the problem). I get a message that the installation cannot proceed without XP11. I had copied the GTN 750 (XP Realistic) folder and contents from XP11 to the XP12 plugin folder... but this does not work. Any suggestions. I am really at a loss. At the same time I am also fighting off the McAfee virus scanner!

I have 2 issues stopping my use of the GTN750 in XPlane. 1) My Virus scan keeps blocking the program and I can't figure how to override it. 2) I can't get the GTN to show any charts on the flight Plan. I suspect its related to the Garmin data base- which appears to be loaded- but not linked to the GTN application. How do I rectify this. Thanks for any assistance!

I cannot figure out how to save flight plans on SimBrief or SimToolKit to the GTN750 I am using with X-Plane (Eg Caranado Citation II or the 58 Barron).Is it possible to do? Thanks!

I often get a reminder to update my GTN 750. I think I have the Version installed. When I turn on the GTN on the aircraft, the gauge screen shows Version 2.25.23. The SW Version shows 6.62.0 TRNG. I also have a Navigraph subscription, which I thought was being updated...but the Guage reads Nav and Charts 1909,,,, not the latest. What do I need to to to make sure Navigraph charts are updated? I tried to snap a picture but can't seem to attach to this post. My lack of computer skills. Sorry!

I subscribe to Navigraph and thought I was dutifully updating the GTN 750 installed on my Carenado Beech Baron 58. Then in the start up procedure for the GTN- it looks like the Charts, etc are from the original specification are not being updated. Any suggestions?!

This is an issue related to my lack of knowledge. I have extracted all the file s for the latest XP GTN update- but the update does not show and I continue to get notices to update. I guess I don't know where to or how to add the update, I have the Reality on my C drive but the Plug ins, etc for X-plane on my D drive. I have not had any issues. I also have no clus how to enact automatic updates with RSS. On my C Drive I have rxpGTN-XPL and both the GTN 650 and 750 .exe file for version 2.5.22. On my D Drive, where I keep XPlane and data files, I have Reality in the Plugins file under Resources.Do I need to open them in a special way? Could it be my Virus Protection?

Thank you. I have good news! It works. I carefully went through the files and deleted anything that resembled an old download. Then reloaded the program. Then crossed my fingers an and it worked, Appreciate you for your patience. /p

BTW. I just revisited the f1Purchase Agent site for GTN support and was referred back to you all !!🤓 I must say I am getting amused. Guess I am now an impasse. I tried to download yet another version of the Reality GTN; disable my virus protection, etc...and see that none of the data files load into the GTN. Likely because the Trainer Application is not loaded correctly or activated. Why I have an older version of the sofware is also a mystery. I don't quit too easily but this saga has dragged on far too long. Anyway...

I was able to reinstall the GTN750 after going to the Ap developers website and the online support people. Great! It does not seem to be working properly. Whenever I type in waypoints they do not seem to be recognized. I get the following messages: Database: Chart function unavailable Nav Angle..are referenced to True North Database: Terrain Database is not installed, is corrupt, or not valid for this system. FPL Waypoint locked: Stored flight plan waypoint is not in current navigation database... Appreciate any assistance.. /p

Well. I have made it difficult I think. I removed the program to reinstall it- as I saw that I had multiple program downloads on 2 drives. Now I cannot seem to get a product key to redownload the program for the GTN750 on X-Plane. I have the link and receive a file for extraction but I cannot open it or see any information. I am sure it's my lack of ability. Any ideas? I had hope ed reinstall the program with the McAfee Live Safe turned off. Thanks for any assistance!
