P4AO Shaders folder

Featured Replies

When updating P3D, say a client only update it is recommended that one delete the P3D shaders folder.  Should the same be done with the subject line folder?

Thanks,

Michael

Hello Michael,

I'm not sure that I understand. What is a "P4AO Shaders folder"?

Best regards

I'm sorry the exact folder is shaders_P4AO and it is in the same directory and right below the P3D shaders folder.  I just assumed because of the name that it was being created by the Addon Manager.

Hello Michael,

ah, OK. That folder is just a backup. P4AO creates these backups of everything it touches, just in case something goes wrong.

You can delete it, but it will be replaced anyway next time you press "Delete Shaders" in P4AO.

Best regards
