October 1, 20196 yr fsaerodata updates the FSX and P3D database but also updates the airspaces. Is PF3 compatible with fsaerodata? Also, since PF3 uses the FSX database, (updated by fs aerodata), I would like to know if PF3 reads the location and names of the updated airspaces. Thank you
October 1, 20196 yr The information PF3 reads from FSX is essentially airport information, including gates/stands, taxiways, runways, ILS data, and frequencies. This data can be updated when add-on scenery is installed. Airspace information is not modified or updated.
October 1, 20196 yr Author @dxk77 Thanks for your answer Are you sure you don't read the airspaces? I say this because in PF3 there is an option to designate the name of the `` center '' or `` radar '' airspace. page 62 of the user manual
October 2, 20196 yr The airspace boundaries are hard-coded and are not modified. The feature you are describing allows you to select a different name for an existing control center, if you want. For example, you can change Maastricht to Brussels. You can select from one of the existing names, or just a generic 'Center' or 'Control' call.
