October 8, 20196 yr Hi, Gerald, I just installed MCE 2.8.06. It works very well, thanks. Just a little problem: whenever I ask for a Course/Track in the 100’s (e.g. “Set course 1xx”), the reply is invariably “Setting course 0xx” and the the FO acts accordingly. Tried saying both “one hundred xx” and “one x x” (digit-wise), same problem. From 200 onwards all is fine. On the other hand, If I ask for a Heading in the 100’s (i.e. “Set heading 1xx”), both reply and action by the FO are always correct. Not my English… Thank you for your help, Giorgio Giorgio Goggi

Definitely not a speech recognition issue. Because there are 2 Nav sets, one is referred to as "nav one" and the other "Nav two", as a result when you say "set course one three zero" it understands "set course (on number one set to) 30. Either speak "set course one, one three zero or use the other variations like "nav one course one three zero" Similarly, for NAV2, use "set course two, one three zero" or "nav two course one three zero. It's also why we don't use commands such as "set nav two to one three zero". The "to" in the middle could be seen as part of the value to dial. Even if it gets through, Fo will ask you to confirm, because 2130 isn't right for a course or heading. Gerald R https://www.multicrewxp.com
