I had a question to make sure I'm not missing something with ATC.  I seem to have no ATC and it seemed like in the beginning when I first installed X-plane I did.  The ATIS still works but there are no communications between aircraft in game and the computer generated ATC voices.  Would anyone know if maybe a file I had got deleted or is this a known issue.  I have tried a few different AI aircraft programs over the past year and wonder if maybe something there might have conflicted with the game?  Thanks for any suggestions

Built-in ATC in X-Plane is nowhere near what you are used to under P3D or FSX. Almost everyone has given up on it

There are alternatives though, Including Radar Contact ATC and PF3 ATC that can be re-used in X-Plane.

Yeah the out of the box ATC isn't great. I've stared to use this freeware instead. It's actually decent and gives me some of the options I had missed from when I played FSX before XPlane

I know what you are talking about. I noticed that yesterday. I have 4 ai aircraft in the sim, and usually you hear ATC talking to them. They arent now. Though the ATC as bad as it is, still communicates with you. Matter of fact, since I installed the latest update, I haven't seen any of the AI.
