KHOU Houston Hobby scenery

Recommended Posts

Yep small world. I left the area back in 1996 so its been about 10 years. I can only imagine how its grown, though I haven't been back to the area since I left. My best friend was also a pilot for COA and he moved up to Willis, TX so no reason to hang out in good ole' Harris County no mo!When I was in Houston I was flying for COA EX, EMB 120 then ATR 42. Was in the area the whole time for flight training and was hoping to get based in KEWR but alas got stuck in reserve at KIAH. I stayed at the Holiday Inn at the airport the whole time during training and remember fondly cashing my measly training stipend at Kroger!I finally got a transfer to KGSO (was a base for about a year or so) and the 737-300 for Continental Lite and then finally to KEWR.Good luck with going over to COA. What do you want to do for them?

Dave,I would love to have some front on pics of the new main terminal extension (the new buildings), and the jetways there. Also I do not have any pics of the older original terminal buildings (the ones from which the new extension extends out), or the jetways there. Good quality pics will greatly enhance the quality of the scenery. My email is shez(at)attglobal(dot)net.ThanksShez
