October 27, 20196 yr I continue to refine the use of MCE with Aerosoft CRJ700/900 tied to real world ops of a particular airline. This program is great. Questions: How do I make it so when I call for a checklist, the FO/PM first runs his flow and then reads off the checklist. I have tried a couple of solutions but they have not worked out well. One has been setting up a voxscript for the flow and within the voxscript calling for the checklist. The problems is the names would be the same.... I The ideal would be to call the checklist and the checklist would (perhaps silently call the voxscript flow sequence with a different name) run the associated flow before reading off the check list. Any suggestions on how to make this work. An example would be the BEFORE START CHECKLIST which has the as one of the steps the FO do a flow that includes turning on the seat belt sign). Help much appreciated. Wallace Wallace Wittkoff

Wallace Sure, There are various ways you can proceed. 1) At the end of the flow, add speech command you would speak when requesting a specific checklist Example in flow parking brake on navigation lights on before start checklist The above would be triggered with the flow's name. Alternatively, clone the script and give the copy a completely different trigger sentence like "ok before start check". "ok" at the beginning should be enough to make it different from the expected "before start check" or "before start checklist" and Fo would execute the flow instead, then just add the command to read checklist at thee end. before start checklist "ok before start check". is just a suggestion. Feel free to come up with any other variation, provided it doesn't clash with any built-in command, as the latter always take precedence. Gerald R https://www.multicrewxp.com
November 1, 20196 yr Author Perfect. Thanks. Your OK to differentiate the flow that also calls the checklist from the checklist is a great solution. Thanks. Wallace Wittkoff
