  1. For the realworld procedures I'm replicating in the Aerosoft CRJpro, certain built in commands don't require confirmation and in fact disrupt the flow of things. Is there a way to deactivate the requirement that a specific command requires confirmation? One of them is to request the flight director to be turned off. This is requested on the final phase of some non precision approaches and also maneuvers (like steep turns). The other case is asking for an engine to be started during a normal starting sequence. MCE is great complimentary product to the flight sim experience! Wallace Wittkoff
  2. Same here for the //1. //2. //3 function and the _ function. My work around for these issues I have are: For the responses, in case of no reply needed from captain or pf, I string together the different pm checklist items as one. If the pm must respond to his own item with a verify from the captain or pm, I put his ‘verify checked’ on the left and my response to the right. The result of these two methods is also a much faster checklist read like in the rw For the _ My work around has been to simply not state out loud the and mumble it in my head. Like ‘verify (think in my head) set’. I look forward if this issue is able to be resolved by me or other in future. While it would be nice that these work arounds were not needed in my case, MCE is of immense value to the simm experience that is essential to fly the aircraft as in the real world. What a great tool to be able to call out mcp commands, activate flows that go with checklists and voxkey
  3. Well that solved it... : ), the amazing thing I had done that before during one of my other truble shooting sessions... but it did not take.... perhaps one of my trouble shooting steps worked and this final step was required and this time it took! Go figure : ) !!! thanks again.
  4. thank you, much appreciated. An e-mail with all suggested diagnostic information on its way ready for when/if you are able to get to it. For the benefit of others, copied here. 1. LINDA application version (go to LINDA Settings/About). Linda 3.0.12c 811 2. LINDA aircraft module name and version (in LINDA header). Aerosoft CRJ version 1.0 2 Dec 19 3. FSX or Prepar3D (P3D) version. P3D 4.5.13.32097 4. Aircraft supplier, model and version. Aerosoft CRJ Pro 2.0.0.1 5. What were you trying to do (ie. connecting, programming functions, operating panel, etc). Program CRJ specific functions to joystick buttons. 6. A detailed description of what the problem is. Comments like “It doesn’t work” are not very helpful. While the joystick ST290pro and seitek throttle quadrant appear at the bottom of line interface and show the areas where the button functionality can be programmed, the button presses are not actually detected. The same buttons are detected in FSUIPC. I don't have any buttons programmed in FSUIPC for this aircraft (or that i can think of). Wallace Wittkoff, Kentucky USA
  5. Good afternoon fellow pilots. I'm a long time user of Linda and MCP comboII with the awesome AS CRJ. At some point during upgrading process of all the moving parts in the software, Linda no longer detects the button pushes of the Joystick (ST290pro) and throttle quadrant. I could not resolve and reverted to prepar3D key assignments but now with the great and much necessary functionality of Linda scripts for the CRJ (like Autopilot disconnect) which are essential for proper flight of this aircraft I really need to get this working again. So here is some information in case someone has resolved this before. Versions of software: Latest as of today P3D 4.5.13.32097, FSUIPC (5.153 registered), Linda 3.0.12c Issue: Joysticks detected in Linda **but individual buttons are not**. MCP ComboII works as normal Steps taken so far - Verified that the button pushes are detected by P3D and FSUIPC - Installation of Linda shows all is Ok in configuration checklist - Button settings in P3D removed per instructions - Tested with other aircraft/ default aircraft. The same thing. - Unplugged the usb devices and plugged into a different port in hopes it could rebuild a proper connection. - One Forum posting mentioned looking at FSUIPC.ini and see if under [PROGRAMS] the correct listing of linda was there and only one installation. My FSUPC.ini does not have a [PROGRAMS] section... I could not find more information on this possible issue. I suspect something is corrupted. Is there a way to "rebuild" the connectivity of Linda to HID devices. I have not tried to reinstall LINDA. If I do? which files do I backup to preserve my MCP combo settings? Help is much appreciated! Wallace Wittkoff
  6. Thanks Dave for this idea. I will look into it and report back. By the way the Aerosoft CRJ and MCE are a great match!
  7. Perfect. Thanks. Your OK to differentiate the flow that also calls the checklist from the checklist is a great solution. Thanks.
  8. Great post and request (to go along with a great program that mce is). As a crj driver I use the ppt up toggle on the yoke for intercom as a courtesy to the other pilot who does not need to hear me breath, sneeze, and chew food 😆😆🤣🤣. For the simm this option would be a great addition as well for getting closer to rw opps and help with limitations of the computer speech recon system. Thanks!.
  9. I continue to refine the use of MCE with Aerosoft CRJ700/900 tied to real world ops of a particular airline. This program is great. Questions: How do I make it so when I call for a checklist, the FO/PM first runs his flow and then reads off the checklist. I have tried a couple of solutions but they have not worked out well. One has been setting up a voxscript for the flow and within the voxscript calling for the checklist. The problems is the names would be the same.... I The ideal would be to call the checklist and the checklist would (perhaps silently call the voxscript flow sequence with a different name) run the associated flow before reading off the check list. Any suggestions on how to make this work. An example would be the BEFORE START CHECKLIST which has the as one of the steps the FO do a flow that includes turning on the seat belt sign). Help much appreciated. Wallace
  10. 1st, what a great combo for with Aerosoft CRJ and MCE. I have been able to closely match a real world CRJ flows and ops. Truly amazing. One area that I cannot get to work is having voxscript set a specific flap setting. The command such as FLAPS EIGHT works as a normal verbal command when in the simm but when as part of a voxscript it does not work. The command FLAPS UP does work in voxcript but not a flaps to a specific number. I tried I believe all the possible syntax. The reason this is important is to creat voxcript commands for situations such as: Go arrounds/missed appraoches Balked landings Windshear recovery Stall recovery Most other functionality of MCE seems to be working fine. Any ideas why the flap command to specific flap is not working as a voxscript command? This is with P3D v. 4.3.29 With MCE 2.7.63 and Latest Aerosoft CRJ windows 10 home. Help much appreciated. 11. Fantastic on the recently releaed beta module. Very useful already. The purpose here is to create a list of observed items for future evolution of this module. Note, I don’t claim immunity that perhaps the noted item is simply user error (me!) To start. - heading synch function needed as often used in ops. (this floats to the top for me) FIXED - Right wing landing light funtion (when alone or all on) not working. FIXED - implement side panel rotaries. (Map range, mins, vspeeds) noting that even if these are not implemented for technical or resource reasons that this module remains highly welcomed by the, community. ADDED Thanks!!
  12. Thanks!!!! Andrew. You got much much further than I could have imagined getting functionality with this beta and already immensly useful. For others who may use this, note that the default heading knob (for the vrinsight mcp combo) is also mapped to altitude but that is easily remapped by the user in the linda interface. Other evolutionary notes for, future will be posted in the support subforrum
  13. Done on Donation! Thanks for spending personal time for a key element in our simmulation hobbies.
  14. Guenseli, thanks for what you have done for the aircraft you have created modules!!! +1 on this request. I’m a RW CRJ pilot and Aerosoft has done a fantastic rendition of this aircraft series that also fills well an important “regional” gap that existed. I actually am constantly amazed at how close this flies with the real thing, it gives me chills... With an aircraft without Autothrottle, it really becomes evident how important it is to “stick to the numbers” and the plane flies like a dream. Sloppy with speeds the opposite. Regarding bugs I can report the initial launch was very good (as compared with other simmilar launches by other publishers) and the first update makes this product get’s it where it needs to be. The missing thing really is the linda module for vrinsight as fumbling arround in the 3d cockpit for a vertical speed or heading turn on departure or approach while managing the power/speed in turbulance is a handful.. The CRJ is a sweet “rocket ship” among jets with this model and real life. As lonewolf says, the basic functions of heading, speed mode, vertical speed mode (very much used in this aircraft) and the varius mode arming that are used in critical fases of flight would be great. Thanks for the consideration!
