[Resolved] AI folder set-up

Featured Replies

Hi Simbol

When I conduct a scan, no AI aircraft is detected. Currently I have my AI aircraft in a folder P:/AI Aircraft, linked to the sim using Lorby's organiser. So am I right in thinking I need to remove that link using the Addon organiser and create the .xml file myself, as per your pinned topic above? If so, can I use my existing names and file set-up or do I need to use the naming conventions you and file string you refer to?

Also, the related effects, such as the FAIB strobes are in a folder called P:/Addon effects which contains all addon effects (including boat and plane traffic etc)  and is also linked using Lorby's PAO. So do I need to do anything with those, or will your effects just automatically over-ride them.

Just wanting to clarify that before I start tweaking about too much.

cheers

Ian

Which version of Ailrp are you running I pushed a new version last night because Lorby is saving the addons.cfg using UCS encoding causing this issue.

Are you running 1.0.12.4?

Thanks Simbol

That seems to have done the trick. I've now been able to scan my aircraft. It's detected a number of Invalid Model configuration errors, but I'll have a read what that is all about.

cheers Ian
