October 30, 20196 yr Hi, I'm trying to assign functions to the Saitek switch panel for the Leonardo MD80 eg. landing lites, taxi, etc. no buttons or switches are being assigned. When I go into the joysticks tab for the MD 80, the functions are assigned to the right buttons but they are printed in green with an asterisk in front. I don't know what that means. I go to the module functions for the md80 and select the correct function, save and nothing happens. I cannot set any functions for the MD80 on any device P3Dv4.5 LINDA version 3.0.811 Windows 10 PRO 64bt LINDA aircraft module Leonardo Maddog X Gnacino
November 4, 20196 yr The Saitek Switch panel behaves like a normal joystick except that you need to assign the On_Press and On_Release functions for ON and OFF for each switch. For example, for the Battery, the Battery_On function needs to be assigned to the ON position and the Battery_Off function to the OFF position. If this does not work, let me see the config_hid.lua file for the MD80 aircraft. I do that. All my other aircraft, including PMDG are working fine. I CAN'T assign any functions on ANY hardware, Goflight, Saitek, etc. on the Mad Dog only. I don't know if this is an issue with the Mad Dog, I haven't seen any posts rgarding this problem. Gnacino
November 5, 20196 yr I am not a Magdog user or specialist. Is LINDA correctly sync-ed to the Maddog? Name highlighted in orange at top of page. Also when you try to assign functions do you see the pop up list for Maddog and its functions listed? Can you assign to other joystick devices?
