Traffic Global/64/win.xpl : Error Code = 1114 ?

Recommended Posts

I purchased traffic global  but I can't seem to make it work. I installed it fine but the plugin won't show up  in the  plugins menu. All my other plugins load fine. I checked log.tx and found this error:

C:\X-Plane 11/Resources/plugins/Traffic Global/64/win.xpl : Error Code = 1114 : A dynamic link library (DLL) initialization routine failed.

I ran a search on google but I'm none the wiser.

How do i fix this ?

Thanks

Try running the install as administrator. Looks like some Microsoft DLL's did not install correctly.

Roland,

Is it working for you now ? I opened a ticket and  they should get  back to me within 4 days.

Yes mine is working now.(on xp 11.40 even)

Have you updated xp as stated in the manual of TG?

maybe manually install/repair vc redist 2013 etc.

hope you get it resolved quickly, its a nice, no hassle, addon

Still no luck hm?

Do you exclude xp directory in virus scanner?

tg install as admin, run xp as admin.

Else try and temporary remove rest of plugins and see if that does anything?

frustrating stuff

Hello.  I have exactly the same issue.  Can I ask what cpu / motherboard you have as so far the people having these issues seem to be using first generation Intel cpus with socket 1366 x58 motherboard...  Could be wrong but I'm trying get to the bottom of this situation...  Possibly the cpu may not be able to read the program that's being used by traffic global but at the moment they are just telling me it's a firewall / antivirus that's stopping it from running.   Many thanks Steve
