Does anyone know how to add runway designator numbers to taxiways in FS9 using AFCAD? This would be for situations where airports close actual runways for repair, etc. and use taxiways as temporary runways. If the runways were then shown as closed using AFCAD, would the AI aircraft then use the temporary taxiway runways?

Hi,The only way to add runway designators is to use the Insert/Runway command. You must have a runway to have designators. Perhaps you could make the runway 1 foot wide, no markings, and made of the same material as the taxiway, and it wouldn't be visible. The runway under construction can be closed for both takeoffs and landings, but must be within 7 degrees of the taxiway runway for the closing to be respected.
