November 15, 20196 yr Sometimes, when I load a saved flight, LINDA does not restart. Is there a way of restarting LINDA without exiting the SIM? Regards John Earl John Earl United Kingdom
November 15, 20196 yr LINDA will restart automatically if it detects a new aircraft. This may not be the case if you reload the same aircraft. There are 2 ways of restarting the LUA engine without closing and reopening. Click on restart LUA engine of the GUI main page or use <alt>+<R> hotkeys from the keyboard. However, should FSUIPC need to be restarted then the Flt Sim has to be closed and restarted. This is only necessary in rare circumstances like when you switch on a VRI MCP panel. November 15, 20196 yr Author Thanks for the reply. If I press ALT + R, nothing seems to happen. Also, could you put a screen shot of where, Restart LUA Engine is located? I cannot find such a command. Thanks again. John Earl John Earl United Kingdom
November 15, 20196 yr I am not at my PC. Just open the LINDA GUI and the Restart LUA Engien appears as one of the right hand links. You will get the normal startup messages in the top line of the Flt Sim. November 15, 20196 yr Author Yes thanks I see that now. However it is greyed out (even when sim is running) so inoperative. Regards John Earl John Earl United Kingdom

November 15, 20196 yr Author No. My VRInsight panel is operating so it appears connected. I have opened LINDA by clicking on the LINDA icon in the task bar. Regards John Earl John Earl United Kingdom
November 15, 20196 yr Try this. <CTR>+<ALT>+<R> as the hot key sequence. Also under LINDA Settings, tick Developer Mode to un-grey the Restart LUA Engine option.
