November 19, 20196 yr Being that P3D tends to hammer Clock 0 the hardest... Is it best to max out the clock for my core 0 or OC all cores evenly? The reason I ask is I’m somewhat voltage and cooling limited in OC’ing my i7 6700 (@ stock 4.0) and was wondering what was the best way to max the clock as I believe I can go slightly higher on core 0 than if I spread the clock over all cores... Right now the highest I can go with the system remaining stable is 4.7 on all cores. Thanks! Chris Camp

That's not bad at all for that chip. The problem is you cant really take core 0 and oc to 5 and run the remaining 3 cores at 4. You still will need massive amount of vcore to keep the 1st core stable. so at that point you are not saving anything.
