Having an issue with Linda and the NGXu,

Seem to be getting an error in the Console window
[E] *** LUA Error: …\modules\linda\aircraft\pmdg 737-800ngx/actions.lua:344 Attempt to compare nil with number

I've also tried to create a new linda profile for the NGXu but when I sync to sim, it reverts back to NGX

 

any help please?

You need to install the updated PMDG 737NGX v4.13 and the new PMDG 737NGXu modules.

Thanks, Just done that, but it still syncs to the NGX? I downloaded the NGXU zip aircraft too

 

Download and install PMDG 737NGX 4.14 (4.13 had an error in it).

Will I lose my ngx settings already saved?

The PMDG 737NGX is for the old release and the PMDG 737NGXu is for the latest release. If you had old release installed it must be overwritten with the latest module 4.14 for the 737u to be correctly detected and the error removed.

PMDG seem to have created the same mess as with the B737 MAX.

I renamed my old NGX stuff and now its syncing, but when I add a switch (Landing Lights) and click save. It says Lua Restarting, and the commands now go blank, like its not saving

Why did I upgrade to the NGXu, everything was perfect 😄

Go to Airbus A320. Much better.

LINDA reloads configurations when you save a button. It should not restart LINDA.

I would need to see the FSUIPC5.log file with LINDA debugging set to Verbose to help any further. Follow the fault diagnosis procedure and email be the logs to the address given. DO NOT PASTE logs here.

No your right, When I click save on button 10, lights On... click on save, the button that I just setup clears and p3d says linda reloading

This suggests that you have a corruption in your various NGX folders. Post a screenshot of your /modules/LINDA/aircrafts and /modules/LINDA-cfg/aircrafts folders. In each folder there should be either one or two folders  starting PMDG 737- for the old and new versions of 737NGX. 

Its ok, I just deleted everything and started again, its now saving, but the commands arnt working in the sim. I wonder if the modified version of fsuipc may be causing a problem

 

You need the latest paid/registered version of FSUIPC5 for LINDA to function. 

Yeah I have the very latest which hasn't released to the public yet, as the current version didn't allow any OUTPUTS from the pmdg to my overhead panel etc, so pete has spent 2 weeks doing a new version for the ngxu, which I wonder is causing an issue with linda

Works fine with the NGX and mobiflight, and NGXU works fine now with fsuipc and mobilflight, but this is the first time since going to ngxU with linda

I've re-tested again with my previous Linda that was working with the NGX, and 99% of the stuff works apart from APU and engine start switches. I think Pete had said in the newer unreleased version of fsuipc, he has changed a lot of the offsets as PMDG have messed up, but he now has it working with NGX and NGXu, but If I use the NGXu with linda, I don't get any inputs working.

I think PMDG have made a right mess with rushing this release out, Linda has obviously made changes to make it work with current FSUIPC and ngxU,, where Pete has made a new version of FSUIPC 5 to work between it and PMDG and theres no  communication between anyone 😄 but this is just my guess lol
