Vox 7.42 FATAL on VFR

Featured Replies

So I decided to dabble in some VFR tonight, and no matter the airport - with the A2A 172 - I get a fatal error after enabling vox.  I fired up and IFR plan in the FSL bus and that initialized without any issues.  I tried a handful of airports from default to 3rd party with the same issue.  Am I setting something up wrong with VFR?

Whoops - forgot to rerun the indexer after installing the 172!

VFR in VOXATC is actually pretty realistic. The one issue is that if an airport has no CTAF frequency in the nav database, VOXATC defaults to the one for the UK (135.475). There is no way around this, short of editing every uncontrolled airport with ADE and adding the correct frequency.

Im excited to dabble with the VFR in vox.  Ive always done IFR since im mostly flying the bus and before that was mostly in the NGX.  Deciding to change it up a bit.  I was half asleep last night and trying an VFR flight but i was stuck at climbing and departing the airport area for awhile.  Then I just got tired and went to bed.  Going to maybe give a flight or two a go in a bit and go over the manual to see what I might have done wrong last night.
