Power Management Issues

Featured Replies

Hello, I don't seem to be able to get Power Management working in this aircraft.

I watched the video noted in this thread:

And read through this thread in it's entirety:

When taking off, I have power management set to TO, the power levers in the white detent, condition levers in the auto detent, and the best I can get is 58% torque with NP at 100%.  I tried "jiggling" my levers a bit to ensure it was in fact in the detent with no effect.  I had to have the power levers to full forward to get 90% torque, which was as high as I could get.

Normally I would just write this off as Carenado not fully simulating the system but it seems like others have gotten it working properly.  Any thoughts on what I might be doing wrong?  Cockpit is dark, ie no white lights on indicating something hasn't been activated.

Thanks

Dave

90% torque (100% power lever) is the correct setting for the Carenado ATR. Forget the markings.

The power levers usually stay at this position and you simply use the rotary selector for takeoff, climb and cruise power/rpm.

Thanks, I'll give that a shot.
