747-8 Command Issues

Featured Replies

Hi,

Been setting up flows for the PMDG 747-8. All good except for the following that I've found so far. Not sure if these have been reported previously.

"Trim Air On" only turns on the left trim air switch
"Trim Air Off" only turns off the left trim air switch

"All Packs On" turns them on but "All Packs Off" does nothing. Have to say "All Packs On" again for them to turn off

"Emergency Lights Arm" arms them (from the off position)
THEN
"Emergency Lights Off" turns them on
THEN
"Emergency Lights on" turns them off

"Engine Anti-Ice Auto" doesn't go to auto
"Wing Anti-Ice Auto" doesn't go to auto

Harry

Download this patch

Unzip and manually replace files as per folder structure.

Should be sorted.

Are you on P3D V4 or FSX?

Thanks Gerald.... That worked.

When saying "transponder tara" the selector switch goes past TA/RA to ALT. Also "window heat on" or "window heat off" does nothing.

That should be it for this aircraft. Moving on to Qualitywings 787.

PMDG 748-F

Flaps: Asking for position 5 from position 10 goes to position 20 then if asked again for position 5 it goes to position 5.

Transponder: Asking for tara from standby goes to "Alt RPTG Off"

Autobrake: From OFF asking for autobrake 3 goes to autobrake 2 then if asked again for autobrake 3 it goes to autobrake 3.

Wing Anti-Ice = Only goes back and forth between OFF and AUTO
Engine Anti-Ice = No Problem

Starting With Switches Off:
hydraulic demand one auto = ok
hydraulic demand two auto = no action
hydraulic demand three auto = no action
hydraulic demand four auto = no action

Then:
hydraulic demand one on = no action
hydraulic demand two on = goes to auto
hydraulic demand three on = goes to auto
hydraulic demand four on = goes to auto

Then:
hydraulic demand one auto = goes to off
hydraulic demand two auto = goes to off
hydraulic demand three auto = goes to off
hydraulic demand four auto = goes to off

Then:
hydraulic demand one off = goes to aux
hydraulic demand two off = stays off
hydraulic demand three off = stays off
hydraulic demand four off = goes to aux

Then:
hydraulic demand one aux = stays on aux
hydraulic demand four aux = stays on aux

Then:
hydraulic demand one off = no action
hydraulic demand four off = no action

Should be all sorted in latest patch

In addition to "mce.exe" and "mcpmd744V2.dll", also replace the 2 files in <CandC> folder

Thank you once again.
