Rift S - no mouse in P3DV4.5? -texture problem

Featured Replies

I see no mouse in P3DV4.5 with the Rift S (installed it today), only a moving white circle. Am I supposed to click with that? It only moves with head moves. And does nothing when I click my mouse.

Yes, the white dot is the mouse cursor. If it does nothing make sure your P3D window is the active window on the desktop (e.g., that your active window isn't your wheather or flight planing etc, but the simulator) and that you have not accidently brought up the right-click context menues (which you wont see in VR). It should be fine after that.  If not, then something else is going on.

BTW: I just bought and installed Aerofly FS2. Works VERY good (also great FPS). What suprised me: a really good functioning mouse, which moves independent of my head movements. In Prepar3D the dot moves constantly as I move my head a little, which makes for example dialing GPS knobs very difficult.

You will get used to this after a while and your movements will adapt. It works pretty well at that point.
