QW787 Command Issues

Featured Replies

Working through the QW787 flows.

Saying "emergency lights off" turns them on and so on.

Saying "bulk cargo heat switch on" or "off" does nothing.

Saying "ventilation on" turns it on but doesn't close the switch cover

Stabilizer cutoff red switch covers don't close

Might want to have a look at the 4 generator buttons(L1-L2-R1-R2). Unless I'm mistaken somethings not right. L1 & R1 seem to be the only buttons that respond. If I have this wrong please advise how these should work.

Saying "QNH Standard" or "QNH Standard Off" does nothing. However, the first officer reports the actions were completed.

Engine start doesn't include opening the engine fuel levers.

That's it so far.

Use these speech commands

generator one on/off

backup generator one on/off

generator two on/off

backup generator two on/off

If you'd like to use different speech commands, let us know

That's fine Gerald. Thanks. Didn't realize that two of them were backups.

I think you're right. They are equal generators running at the same time.

With hindsight, maybe changes will be made so command "engine one generator on" switches both L1 and L2 on

It's a bit odd how those switches are laid out physically but we've got them working. So for me it's good enough.
