Zipped double click to open

Hi,

Bit of a long shot,but anybody have any thoughts on why this is suddenly happening?

For years ive used ultimate zip for unzipping any files and because ive assosiated these files with this program all i needed to do was double click on the file and ultimate zip would launch and i could then unzip the file.

About a week ago this all suddenly stopped and double clicking the file does nothing. Ive tried uninstalling ultimate zip and reinstalling then re assosiating the program with zipped files but still nothing. If i open ultimate zip then select the zipped file to unzip it works as normal but simply double clicking on the file no longer works. Any ideas why?

Not sure why this should suddenly happen. But, to reset it right-click on a zip file, "Open with", "Choose another app", select your preferred app from the list or select "Look for another app on this PC". Remember to tick "Always use this app to open .zip files".
