December 15, 20196 yr Hello, Is the Mindstar GNS 430/530 capable of LPV approaches? It says on the Mindstar website that it is WAAS enabled, so I assumed that it would be able to; however, I attempted to fly a few LPV approaches in the A2A skyhawk with the 430, and while I got a glidepath indication on the CDI, the 430 did not identify the approach as "LPV" - instead, it simply says that it is in "APP." The real 430/530 typically says whether it is in LPV, LNAV, LNAV + V, etc, but for some reason the mindstar GNS only says "App" whenever I use it for a GPS approach. Thanks
