Which LGIR Heraklion scenery?

Featured Replies

Hi. I am glad that Greek holiday destinations are getting a lot of attention recently. I really like Crete and would like to have a Heraklion scenery. JustSim released a scenery a few months ago, but this is just for the airport, and like many JustSim products may not be as good a quality as sceneries from other developers. FSDG however released what seems to be a better product in 2015 as this also includes the surrounding city scenery. But of course this is 4 years old and doesn't include the latest scenery features such as PBR. And then I read a few weeks ago that Flytampa released a Heraklion scenery for X-Plane 11. Does anyone know whether Flytampa is likely to release the scenery for Prepar3d v4?

So which LGIR scenery would you recommend? The up to date but less detailed JustSim scenery? Or the older but more extensive FSDG scenery? Or wait to see whether Flytampa releases a version for P3D?

Many thanks.

Adrian

Hi Adrian.

I own the FSDG version of LGIR and it still is a great scenery. Like you mention, it includes the surrounding city which is nice but no PBR which doesn't bother me personally.

I have no idea if FT will release for P3D, one can only hope 🙏

If Justsim had done their version with Digital Design, i would have been tempted.

That's my 2 pennies, lets see what the rest of the gang think
