C310 "atc_model=" ?

Featured Replies

Does anyone know the proper fill-in for this in the C310's aircraft.cfg file?  As it stands now, my pilot identifies himself to ATC as "Cessna", but nothing else, and it would seem there ought to be something additional, for instance, "Twin Cessna", or "Cessna 310".  Any ideas?  The default entry, "310", yields nothing.

I insert "TwinCessna" to get ATC to call me "twin cessna N#." If you search "ATC type" on Google, it will take you to the lists for model, type, and airline that you can use in flight sim.

Try this:

[General]
atc_type=TwinCessna
atc_model=310
editable=1

Thank you, rightseat.  I have that document you reference, or least one similar.  For this C310, it suggests "atc_type=Cessna" and "atc_model=310".  However, I will try "TwinCessna" and see how that goes.  Thanks again.

"TwinCessna" worked like a charm!  Thanks, again, rightseat.
