Very Strange Problem on Start-Up

Featured Replies

Hello,

Recently I have been experiencing very strange problem I've never had before. Occasionally, when I start the PC, video card (1080Ti) fails to start. It takes me to slightly move HDMI connector on the video card in/out and left/right OR simply switch HDMI ports for the cable in order to bring video card back to life. It the video card happens to be start successfully during initial start-up, then it works flawlessly in the sim. As I mentioned, my problem happens during the start-up process only.

I checked the monitor and video-card for ADA64 test and they both passed it. What else it could be? Corrupted HDMI cables?

Best Regards
Dmitriy

I had a similar problem but with a DP connection. Changing the cable solved the problem.
