I'm getting really bad screen flickering when I look around the VC using the middle mouse button. It only happens with A2A aircraft and only when I'm in rainy weather. I'm using P3D 4.5 and windows 10

Hey Mike,

I had the same issue as well. It had to do with my monitor's refresh rate and not Chaseplane. Do you have really high frame rates with a high hertz monitor? If so, lock your frames with an external program (e.g. Nvidia inspector or RTSS). I locked mine at 35 (as you really do not need more than that anyway) and it solved my issue.

Try minimizing ChasePlane to the system tray.  That had a noticeable impact on stuttering for me, as weird as that is.
