Can't get my new GNS530 and GNS430 to work (resolved)

Featured Replies

After spending 60$ to buy the GNS 530/430, I am very displeased to find that it is not working. I ran both installers, booted up my A2A C172 after installing to 530/430 in the aircraft configurator, and attemped to turn on the gauge, but just a black screen, I tried messing with the GNS configurator but couldn't get it to work. Any suggestions?

OK, this has got to be fixable..

Assuming you used the a2a config app to select the GPS gauges, are you getting any GNS popup windows?  Try shift+2, 3, 4 etc all the way to 9.

And when you installed the GNS gauges, did you also install the Garmin GNS Trainer, as prompted?

I tried adding a pop up window with the GNS530 config tool, no result. Still black.

Negative, I did not get a prompt for that, i'm assuming that is it, do you have a link to the trainer?
