February 5, 20206 yr Hello, I am having an issue setting up my tiller axis in p3d. The twist axis that controls the tiller shows rapid movement even when the joystick is still. This causes my rudders to constantly move as well as a sharp turn to the right if I let go of the tiller when taxiing. This is making calibration difficult as the axis is never completely centered. ~Spencer HoeferMOBO: Gigabye Aorus z590 elite | CPU: Intel i9-10900k | RAM: GSKILL RIPJAWS 32GB DDR4 3200 |GPU: Nvidia RTX 2080Ti 11GB| OS: Windows 10

February 7, 20206 yr Are they moving along the full range of the axis or just judder around the center? If it's the latter you could try to increase the null zone around the centre to mask this. No it will move along the full range, however the tiller is constantly favoring one side so I can never have the wheel straight without holding the joystick. ~Spencer HoeferMOBO: Gigabye Aorus z590 elite | CPU: Intel i9-10900k | RAM: GSKILL RIPJAWS 32GB DDR4 3200 |GPU: Nvidia RTX 2080Ti 11GB| OS: Windows 10
February 8, 20206 yr Spencer - do you have rudder pedals too? If you do then have you considered locking the twist action on the stick and moving the tiller function to the proportional rocker switch on the throttle? I am gonna try the rocker switch now and see if that is better. I totally forgot about that. ~Spencer HoeferMOBO: Gigabye Aorus z590 elite | CPU: Intel i9-10900k | RAM: GSKILL RIPJAWS 32GB DDR4 3200 |GPU: Nvidia RTX 2080Ti 11GB| OS: Windows 10
