rxp gtn 750

Featured Replies

Hi All, can anyone tell me if it is possible to run the RXP GTN 750 I purchased from Reality on a second pc.  I have a touchscreen monitor connected to my laptop which run`s the HSI Guage  through  XHSI on my main x-plane 11 desktop by a wireless connection to my HUB, which allows me to show the HSI  on the laptop whilst flying on my desktop .  I would like to be able to also run the rxp gtn 750 installed on my desktop on the Laptop`s Touchscreen for better clarity and also to use the touchscreen capabilities.  Do I need to obtain a second license to do this ?.

Many thanks.

John

Hi,

The EULA permits installing on 2 different PC as long as you don't use them at the same time. This is for the typical case of using the product on a desktop at home and on a laptop when traveling.

Please note the plugin runs in-sim and doesn't offer a 'remote' mode either (running standalone on a networked computer).

Thankyou. does that mean I can install it on my laptop (how), do I just install from rxp,  and have it showing on my touchscreen through the laptop whilst x-plane is running on my other pc (desktop), and getting its data from x-plane 11 on the desktop. is this done through networking ?, if so how would I do this... through, fsuipc?.
