Second monitor usage?

It's still very much alive...Right click on any popup window to "Undock" and slide to the 2nd monitor, and it will work fine...What annoys the dickens out of me is that in Windowed Mode, the 2nd monitor is totally useless. Although I can slide an Undocked Window over, it will not update, nor will any of the mouse areas be active... :(

FSX does work differently than FS9 with respect to the second monitor. FS9 allowed other applications to appear there, while FSX claims it for its own. You can create new windows in FSX "[" and drag them over there. You will have to fiddle with your AA settings a bit, I believe the AA on one monitor may be controlled by FSX and the other by your video card. I haven't fiddled with it too much yet, but I do find that my second monitor defaults in FSX to 1024x768, while I'd prefer the default res of 1280x1024, which is what the monitor is set for.And from what I've heard the TripleHead2Go is the way to go for spanning monitors.Jon
