February 22, 20206 yr i install FSLabs_A3xx_v1_4 and try to use macro for MCDU but it is not working can anyone please help me out what is wrong? Assigning button to macro for PMDG 737 is working fine Edited February 26, 20206 yr by ScotFlieger
February 22, 20206 yr The LINDA implementation of the MDCU for the FSLabs is completely different from that used for PMDG. It relies on the supplied .MCRO file being installed in the /modules folder. Also some MCDU buttons ( 2, 5, I, P, R, T & V ) do not work despite extensive attempts. Recent A320X updates have not be re-tested with the rarely used MCDU. What exactly are you having problems with? EDIT: There were errors in the module code for MCDU buttons C, J, T & V - these will be fixed in next version. MCDU 2, 5 and I (i) still fail to work. My problem is the .MCRO thing did not work even i try to assign to joystick button using the fsuipc and then i try to record my own macro that didnt work too so i am not sure what have i done wrong. i already have >MCRO file in my modules folder and it is showing in fsuipc when i try assigning them to joystick button please help
February 22, 20206 yr The supplied .MCRO file is setup to work with the FSLabs A3XX module. It is the LINDA functions that need to be assigned to buttons. There is no need to refer to FSUIPC as the button parameters are not included in the macro file. I tested all the LINDA MCDU functions again today. Apart from those keys listed (2, 5, etc) all worked. Have you tested other functions on the overhead panel that call the macro values? Try the battery and fuel pump options. If these do not work then there is a setup issue. The FSLA3XX_MAIN.MCRO should reside in the /modules folder - the same level as LINDA.EXE and the LINDA folders /LINDA and /LINDA-cfg. Are you using the latest FSLabs downloads? February 23, 20206 yr Author Hi Andrew thanks for the reply still not working maybe something is wrong with my setup it is showing Flt Sim or fsuipc nto found CHeck fsuipc version fsuipc file found any idea i am running FSUIPC4, Version 4.974 and fsx acceleration pack fsx.exe version = 10.0.61637.0
February 23, 20206 yr The latest version of FSUIPC4 is 4.974c (see here) if you have recently updated your FSX-SE. You should ensure you have updated LINDA to 3.1.1. If you still have problems please follow the fault diagnosis procedure and email me the logs. Ensure you turn on the fault diagnosis mode is Maintenance page. February 23, 20206 yr Read the procedure. It gives you the email. Andrew Gransden Scotland, UK LINDA Support/Developer - VATSIM and BAVirtual - Airbus Flyer i7 1TB SSD GTX980 - FSX/P3D - Aerosoft Airbus A318/A319/A320/A321 - FS2Crew
February 23, 20206 yr I have just spotted an obvious error. The FSLabs A3XX module and Marco are designed to work with P3Dv 4.5 and the latest downloads from FSLabs. They will not work with FSX or older FSLabs releases. February 23, 20206 yr @monithi Thank you for emailing the logs. The logs show that you are running the PMDG 737NGX in FSX not the FSLabs A3XX. The screenshots show that you have selected FSLabs A3XX in LINDA but this is not sync-ed with FSX. For LINDA to work you need to click on SYNC TO SYNC so that the aircraft box is outlined in orange. This indicates that LINDA and FSX are working with the same aircraft. Although LINDA should reload its LUA code when the GUI is sync-ed, you are advised to click on Reload LUA Engine to force a restart. As mentioned above the MACRO supplied with the latest A3XX module is designed to work with the latest FSLabs release 2.0.2 for P3Dv4.2 or later. The MACRO has not been tested with the older FSX version. I can not guarantee that FSLabs has not modified the virtual cockpit button mapping or whether it will work with FSX. February 24, 20206 yr Author Thanks for the quick reply i think the problem is that i cannot click sync at all it is not syncing maybe i did something wrong if possible can you point it out please (I mean with every module even default fsx aircraft when i click sync it does nothing and Reload Lua Engine also say available only when connect)
February 24, 20206 yr I have rechecked the logs. The reason that you can not get LINDA to sync to the sim is that you are not using a registered, paid version of FSUIPC4. My apologises for not spotting this yesterday. February 24, 20206 yr Author I think i have the registered version below are few first line of my fsuipc4.log ********* FSUIPC4, Version 4.947c by Pete Dowson ********* Reading options from "C:\FSX\Modules\FSUIPC4.ini" Running inside FSX on Windows 7 Module base=65610000 User Name="xxxxxx" User Addr="xxxxxxxxxx " FSUIPC4 Key is provided WIDEFS7 not user registered, or expired 359 System time = 24/02/2020 17:12:49 359 FLT path = "C:\Users\The Mo\Documents\Flight Simulator X Files\" 406 Trying to connect to SimConnect Acc/SP2 Oct07 ... 421 FS path = "C:\FSX\" Edited February 25, 20206 yr by ScotFlieger Removed name and email
February 24, 20206 yr Sorry I read the wrong line. I have rechecked the code within LINDA to confirm to myself what would stop it syncing. There is nothing that should cause the issue you report if everything is correctly installed. I would recommend that you make a backup of your complete /modules folder. Then delete the folder and reinstall FSUIPC4, LINDA 3.1.1 and the 2 aircraft modules for PMDG 737NGX and FSLabs A3XX. Once tested and working then add back any configuration files. EDIT use the LINDA maintenance option to automatically install the modules.
