P3D4.5 automatically switches graphics card

Recommended Posts

Hello,

Randomly since this morning, my P3D selected the default Intel(R) HD Graphics 530 that came with my pc, however when I change it to my NVIDIA GTX 960 and press OK it automatically switches back to the Intel graphics card. Because of this my fps has dropped to the point where I can't fly any plane anymore. Any tips on how to fix this?

Kind regards,

Luc

Can you disable the onboard graphics in the bios?  That might do it.

Already tried that, unfortunately I don't have the option to disable it.

If you don't have anything plugged in to the motherboard graphics port i don't see how that can be. Are you definitely only plugging directly into the graphics card and not the motherboard graphics ports?

Also it's not a laptop is it?

Thanks, this worked! Turns out my girlfriend borrowed my HDMI cable and plugged it back into the wrong port.
